A beautiful, eccentric mansion. A quaint, cozy cottage. In a sprawling landscape, filled with every color under the rainbow. And a beautiful, hand-carved wooden door, welcoming you into your new stay.

And then the bell rings.

I’m sure we’ve all daydreamed, maybe it was a hard day when you were just done with it all, or you just had a little extra energy to spare. Nonetheless, we can admit, it took the focus away from class. And into a magical wonderful world filled with candy, rainbows, or whatever it may be.

But what if we could use that same story, that same creativity, to put ourselves more wholly into the moment? You heard me right, we can use our imagination to help ourselves focus.

It can be in the little bit of free time you have throughout the day, when your brain may not be challenged, or really need to be used at all. We can channel our energy into creating our dream house, our dream world. Go as big or as small as you want.

It may be during the passing period, when you get to your class just a tad bit early, with five minutes left before the bell. By channeling your energy into the five-star meal before you, the aroma wafting around you, while you float gleefully around the thin atmosphere of the moon, floating, floating, floating, floating…

Anyway, it can help you be more mindful during the class to come, as you keep your brain engaged throughout the day.

As always, enjoy yourself, and have a great week, from us at Charger Press!
