Here at Charger Press we have a lovely team dedicated to bringing Hamilton the news. Here are some of our staff!

Editors-in-Chief

Violet Rhoades Editor-in-Chief: Violet is a senior at Hamilton High School. When she's not spending eight dollars on an overpriced latte, she's likely arguing about an obscure French film from the 70s in the Letterboxd comments. If she has a little more energy her complaints shift from Letterboxd comments to Charger Press articles.

Evan Rosenau Editor-in-Chief: Evan is a senior at Hamilton High School. When not editing articles, playing saxophone, or organizing a meeting for GSA, they’re wasting all their money at Target. Every once in a while, they visit their Goodreads TBR to finally pick up the book they’ve wanted to read for five years. Their articles are about as random as their interests, from game reviews to historical recantations.

Disha Deepak Copy Editor: Disha is currently a senior at Hamilton. She’s usually pretty busy with school, robotics, or explaining why geese are the scariest animals. In her rare free time, she enjoys listening to way too much music, reading books, taking naps, and spending time with her friends and family. She also prides herself on being Charger Press’ chief informational acquisitions.

Social Media Managers

Maddie Arthur Charger Insider: Maddie is a senior at Hamilton High School. She loves sports and going to games. When she’s not on the sidelines you will find her on the soccer field. Besides sports she loves spending quality time with her friends.

Lari Li Instagram & Staff Writer: Lari is a currently senior at Hamilton. A lifelong learner, she's always in search of her next conversation partner. While you walk with her, she'll analyze hot-dog fingers and googly eyes in Everything Everywhere All At Once and listen to you explain why Schrödinger's cat is the most patient cat in history. Ten miles go by fast! She loves to read anything, really, and curating her 214 Spotify playlists.

Kendall Zambon Instagram: Kendall is currently a senior at Hamilton. A lifelong music fanatic, she is usually making new playlists, over-analyzing lyrics, or listening to the 1975. She enjoys golfing year-round and skiing in the winter. In her free time, she is most likely napping, reading, or getting way too much takeout food with friends.

Jake Courchaine Charger Insider Correspondent: Jacob is a senior. He enjoys skiing both freeski and racing for our Hamilton coop.

Emersen Cwiklinski Charger Insider Correspondent & Staff Writer: Emersen is a senior at Hamilton and loves reading so she decided to try writing more often as well. In her free time she loves snowboarding every chance she gets, or spending time with her family.  

Liam Petropoulos Charger Insider Correspondent: Liam is a senior at Hamilton High School. He is Charger Press’ token ginger and can be heard in the hallways muttering “you’ve gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet.” He is known for his critically acclaimed “The World is Screwed” collection of essays.

Emmy Schmidt Charger Insider Correspondent & Staff Writer: Emmy is a senior. She loves to read, hang out with her friends, and spend time outside! She can usually be found reading or writing on her patio. If you have any music or book recommendations, she’d love to hear them. She also serves as President of Hamilton’s HOSA Chapter this year, sits on the executive board for French Club, and is heavily involved with the Southeastern WI Leukemia Lymphoma Society!

Matteo Soto Charger Insider Correspondent: Matteo is a senior. He is a prodigy and can be found in the halls all the time. He is the Keeper of Time—and the Bender of Reality.

Prisha Trivedi Charger Insider Correspondent & Staff Writer: Prisha is a senior and she loves playing rugby. She likes spending time with family and friends and trying new experiences!

Staff Writers

Kshitij Batra Staff Writer: Kshitij is a senior at Hamilton High School. He likes playing and watching sports, listening to music, and playing the piano and guitar. He is a part of Hamilton's BestBuddies program and likes giving back to the community by spending his free time volunteering at the library.

Zoe Boschek Staff Writer: Zoe is currently a senior at Hamilton. She enjoys the arts— whether it be attending concerts, musicals, or plays, or being involved in some drama shows at the high school. She is also heavily involved with the band program and many other clubs. When outside of school, she is probably working night shifts at Chick-fil-A.

Angelika Bourke Staff Writer: Angelika is a senior at Hamilton High School. On the off chance she isn't running, she can be found reading, snowboarding, or hanging out with her friends and family.

Lauren DeGroot Staff Writer: Lauren DeGroot is a junior at Hamilton High School. When she is not running Cross Country and Track (which is rare), she is most likely volunteering for one of the clubs she is in, studying for school, or going to concerts with her friends and family. 

Bridget Dwyer Staff Writer: Bridget is currently a junior at Hamilton. Besides playing golf and watching every TV show known to man, she can be found hanging out with her sisters or reading a good book. If you ask, she would totally recommend a good book, show, movie, or even music to you!

Leyten Flood Staff Writer: Leyten is a senior at Hamilton. As a peer leader, Leyten’s mental health never waivers, leaving her plenty of mental energy to work two jobs, dance professionally, and fall down random rabbit holes in the pursuit of conspiracy. She aims to be the next Elizabeth Holmes.

Truth Frazier Staff Writer: Truth is currently a sophomore at Hamilton High School. She absolutely loves music! Whether it’s listening to music, writing about it, or sharing it—music is always her #1!

Addie Hess Staff Writer: Addie is currently a junior at Hamilton. If she isn’t at cheer practice then she is reading, going out with her friends, working, or lounging around the house with her dogs!

Kaviyan Jayalaksshme Srinivasan Staff Writer: Kaviyan is a senior at Hamilton. He carries around a gallon-sized jug to quench his insatiable thirst. You can find him on YouTube by searching his name up. He likes to learn and write about VR, space, and psychology.

Jack McCord Staff Writer: Jack is a junior at Hamilton High School. From in depth sciences to literature and the arts, he enjoys a wide range of engaging topics. In his free time he enjoys doing anything with music, whether it be listening to rock or playing his saxophone. Jack also enjoys partaking in his two favorite sports: fencing & martial arts.

Evi Quast Staff Writer: Evi is a senior at Hamilton. She considers herself very social and talkative when she wants to be. She loves cooking, sports, listening to music, and especially dreaming about going to college somewhere warm. Literally anywhere warm. Oh, and she hates being bugged by her sister. 

Gia Quast Staff Writer: Gia is a senior. She loves being a part of Synergy and Drama, and when she’s not at rehearsals for those, she likes to read, write, listen to music, and go for walks! Oh, and bug her sister. 

Aanya Ranasaria Staff Writer: Aanya is currently a senior at Hamilton. If she’s not at DECA or robotics, she’s spending an absurd amount of money at 7 Brew. She also loves to read, spend time outside and with her friends, and listen to a concerning amount of Hozier and Lizzy McAlpine. 

Claire Schumacher Staff Writer: Claire is a senior at Hamilton High School. As an avid Depop-er, her natural habitat is The Bins, where she tirelessly searches for her next great find. Sometimes, she’ll take a friend with her, or stay at home to read a book, if she’s not at school or running for XC and Track.

Lauren Steighner Staff Writer: Lauren is currently a senior. She spends most of her time in rehearsals for shows at Hamilton. If she isn’t in rehearsal, she can be found working as a server in Menomonee Falls, or with her family and friends.

Emma Suneja Staff Writer: Emma is currently a senior at Hamilton High School. Emma likes to focus on events she feels passionately about. That includes women’s sports and recognition for the performing arts at Hamilton.

Tirish Suresh Staff Writer: Tirish is a senior at Hamilton. He likes to play guitar, read books and go to the beach. When he’s not making music, he’s listening to it, whether it’s Daniel Caesar, J Cole or Radiohead. Tirish’s favorite book is Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and he recommends everyone to give it a shot!

Nathan Tran Staff Writer: Nathan is a senior at Hamilton. Among many other activities, he enjoys fixing his 2000 Toyota Corolla because something breaks on it every other week.

Patrick Wang Staff Writer: Patrick is the cutest junior at Hamilton High School. He’s found sporting monochromatic outfits from Costco everyday purchased by his mother. He may be a STEM nerd, but he dreams of double majoring in communications and women's studies.

Carter Zieger Staff Writer: Carter is a junior at Hamilton. He loves listening to music and spends a lot of time practicing his trombone or doing his homework, but in his free time he’s usually playing video games, drawing, or spending time with friends. He’s always out of new music to listen to, so feel free to make a recommendation!
