College Essentials: What to Pack to College

Starting college is an exciting milestone, but packing for it can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re moving into a dorm, apartment, or commuting from home, having the right essentials can make all the difference in making your college experience comfortable and successful. Here’s a comprehensive (non college specific) guide of what to bring—perfect for both women and men.
Bedding Essentials:
Your bed will be your haven, especially during all-nighters and lazy Sundays. Most dorms have twin XL beds, but make sure you do your research before investing in bedding.
Twin XL sheets (2 sets)
Comforter or duvet
Pillows (1-2)

Mattress protector
Mattress topper (MUST; memory foam recommended)

Shared bathrooms and unexpected illnesses are part of college life, so come prepared.
