Hamilton Scholastic Art Award Winners

Gold Key and Silver Key winning pieces will be on display Jan. 31 – March 15 at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Gold Key artwork will advance to national competition.

The Wisconsin Scholastic Art Awards program, which features outstanding works by students in grades 7 – 12, is the regional section of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards National Program conducted by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, Inc.

Senior Ace Silloway earned a Gold Key for a photograph titled “Between Night and Departure” and an Honorable Mention for an experimental photography piece titled “Blooming Vision.” This is Silloway’s second Gold Key.

Junior Melina Koehn earned Honorable Mention for two pieces, a drawing titled “Call Me if You Get Lost” and a charcoal self-portrait (Pictured below on the left.)

Junior Cayli Malueg earned two Silver Keys, one for a charcoal self-portrait and another for a photograph titled “Colored Light.” (Pictured below on the right.)
