March Teacher Feature: Ms. Mueller

A graduate of both UW-Madison and Milwaukee, March’s teacher feature has been teaching for two years at Hamilton—12 in total—it’s Mrs. Mueller! She got married last year and in her spare time, likes to read, bake, and go to concerts.

What song do you know all the lyrics to?
So many! I love music. But the last one that popped up in Spotify was “Sound of Silence” (by Simon & Garfunkel).
What superpower would you like to have?
Definitely teleportation.
If you won 100 million dollars what would you buy first?
My first buy would be a house. Then probably concert tickets.
What would your perfect room/classroom look like?
I would love to have a classroom with nice lab benches, lots of equipment to do awesome biology experiments, and big windows for my plants, of course.
Are there more wheels or doors in the world? Why?
I’m going to go doors.
What Crayola Crayon color are you? (The more specific the better!)
I think Forest Green suits me. Green is my favorite color. And I also enjoy some forest time.
What unsolved mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?
Who stole the artwork from the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum?!?
What’s your favorite college memory?
So many to recall, but one that stands out is tray-sledding on the Liz Waters hill at UW-Madison.
If you could meet anyone in history who would it be and why?
George Harrison. He’s my favorite Beatle, and I bet he had great stories.
What is the weirdest thing you have done to get your students attention?
I speak some German, so on occasion I’ll say something in German to get students' attention.
What’s your claim to fame?
I would not call it “fame” by any means, but I was pretty good at Forensics in high school! I competed in several interpretation categories and went to Nationals. Fun times!
What skill would you like to master?
I think it would be really cool to learn how to sew.
